Take center stage in planning your future and focus on learning the parts of theatre 生产 that interest you most.
You will gain performance and 生产 experience in our 300+ seat main stage as well as our black box theatre. Our award-winning faculty will help you explore the creative components, 管理, technical theatre and the history and theory of theatre.

剧院(BA / BS)
Our program equips you with acting techniques and skills, theatrical presentation, 方向, 生产 and 管理 of theatre operations and insight on 现代剧院 and theatre of varying cultures which will prepare you for careers in acting, 设计, 技术管理, 生产, 剧院管理, education and sound 管理.
剧院(BA / BS) Teaching Emphasis
Our program equips you with the acting, 导演 and 生产 skills needed for the high school classroom. You’ll take courses in stage 管理, theatre operations, costume 设计 and 照明. Gain insight into 现代剧院 and theatre of varying cultures through our course offerings. Our combined theatre and education program prepares you for a career in teaching. You’ll take courses in pedagogy, learning processes and development, and classroom 管理. After completing a teaching residency, you’ll be certified to teach theatrical arts at the secondary level (grades 7-12).
剧院(MA)
学生 can focus on the following topics: acting, 照明, 现代剧院, 剧院历史, 夸张的设计, 导演, 管理, 剧本创作, theatre pedagogy and theory. We provide our students with an easy admission process, access to scholarships and graduate assistantships, individualized attention from award-winning faculty and a flexible combination of online and face-to-face instruction. A&M-商务 is the only A&M System university that offers this degree.

Get tickets and see us on stage! 票房 is located inside of the Performing 艺术s Center on the A&M-商务 campus in Room 101B. Ticket sales and reservations will begin two weeks before opening night.
The 大学剧场
As a student, you will direct, 设计 or perform in plays at The 大学剧场. The Playhouse is where you will refine your craft throughout the year.

Get hands on experience creating sets, costumes and props in our fully functioning 生产s shops. See your 设计s come to life with digital rendering and CAD based drafting programs and equipment.
The Performing 艺术s Center
The Performing 艺术s Center houses two theatrical spaces, a 60+ seat black box theatre and a 300+ seat main stage theatre to develop and refine your crafts as a theatre practitioner.
狮子戏剧营
Experience two weeks of intensive theatrical training with the state's best teachers, directors and 设计ers. This amazing theatre camp provides performance and technical theatre training classes with outstanding teachers from across the state.
